Nobilis is a diceless RPG, written by Dr. Jenna Moran, the 3rd edition of which was published by EOS Press in 2011 - and it is a game where you get to play the Lord and Master of one of the fundamental concepts of existence. It could be Fire. It could be Hope. It could be Corn Flakes. Heck, it could even be Yaoi. No seriously, I hear that actually happened, once.

In either case, this concept - your Estate - grants you awesome power - but it is threatened by extinction. at the hands of the Excrucians, beautiful horrors from beyond Creation. They will take your Estate and break it, if you let them, and rip it from the world, and female fan artists everywhere will go through their lives with an indeterminable feeling of something essential missing.

So now, Angels and Devils must grudgingly work side by side - along with the other factions - to combat the threat and safeguard Creation...

This group collects illustrations and fan art for this fascinating game, which mixes whimsy and horror, epic adventure and armchair philosophy; Nobilis.

I would like to take a moment and congratulate everyone who contributed to "Nobilis: the Essentials Vol1; A Field Guide to Powers". I got my books from Jenna in the mail Saturday which means if you don't have yours already, you will very soon.

Everyone I've talked to who worked on the artwork for the book, be it before or after the replacement art, all worked very hard and it is really, really awesome. Everyone who worked on it should be very proud of their work.

Some were published before, some were not, however we all are now. So I take this moment to send you a hug and say; "Congratulations on a job well done!"
